Tony has over 30 years’ experience as an Executive, business leader, strategist, consultant, change manager, project director and engineer. He has held executive positions in China, Malaysia, Australia, India, Middle East, Europe, North and South America. Tony has extensive cross-industry experience: Oil & Gas, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Construction. In addition, he is a thought Leader having written numerous technical and business-related articles, specifically focusing on leveraging technology for business benefit. Tony holds an MBA from The London Business School.
Chief Operating Officer
Chris is Chief Operating Officer for OPEX Group, a leading provider of predictive analysis services for the oil and gas industry.
A chartered engineer with two decades experience in the oil and gas sector, Chris has a diverse background of leadership experience in management consulting and digital project delivery. Chris has worked with large multi-national organisations across many sectors, leading and advising them through digital transformation projects. As COO of OPEX Group, Chris is focused on helping oil and gas operating companies to maximise the value of their operational data through the application of predictive technologies and data science techniques.

Finance and Growth Director
Kellas Midstream Limited
Guy Appleton is the Finance and Growth Director for Kellas Midstream, a leading UK focused midstream business which owns and operates several infrastructure systems in both the Central and Southern North Sea.
Guy has over 20 years’ experience in the UK and international oil and gas sector, specialising in finance, strategy and business planning, commercial and business development, and performance management in both corporate and operational environments.
He started his career in the Energy division of Ernst & Young in London before moving to HSBC within the equity capital market division advising clients across a range of sectors, including oil and gas. In 2001, Guy joined Paladin Resources which was subsequently taken over by Talisman Energy and moved to Canada where he worked in Talisman’s international businesses in South East Asia, South America and the Middle East. Prior to joining Kellas Midstream in 2015, Guy was Head of Business Development, Commercial and Strategy at Talisman Sinopec in Aberdeen. Guy is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, has an Honours degree in Economic History and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Dr Mariesha Jaffray
Continuous Improvement Manager
With a background in business improvement both in academia and the oil and gas sector, Dr Mariesha Jaffray joined Oil & Gas UK in 2016. Mariesha is responsible for leading the coordination of the sector’s Efficiency Task Force, working with industry leaders to seek out, promote and provide access to good practice whilst maintaining safe operations.
She is passionate about the development and delivery of effective change programmes and supporting member companies in delivering their internal initiatives and involvement in industry-wide initiatives. Mariesha is a Lean 6 Sigma black belt , has an MA in Psychology and a PhD in change management
Group Innovation Director
Allan Scott is the Group Innovation Director for ASCO responsible for innovation, materials management and systems. He focuses on bringing in innovation and better practice from other industries into Oil and Gas.
Allan leads the Digilean group within the ETF logistics group at OGUK. His mission is to improve and transform materials management and supply chain practice within the upstream oil and oas industry.
Prior to joining ASCO Allan was a senior lecturer at the Robert Gordon University for 16 years directing the MBA programme. He holds a part-time lecturing position with RGU.

Jon joined Petrofac in 2011, is a member of the Executive Committee and sponsors Petrofac’s Digital Transformation effort. Prior to Petrofac, Jon was a Strategy Consultant at Booz & Company, has a Masters in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Columbia Business School
Jan joined Accenture in 2001 and leads the development of Accenture’s Industry X.0 solutions in Digital Upstream and Digital Plant, and is responsible for delivering these at scale with multiple clients around the world, including Petrofac.
Jan has a Masters in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
